happy Tuesday everyone!

it's Election Day....have YOU voted today?

wow. what a day.

so the day started off ok enough. went and voted. my mom and i actually got in and out of there in a matter of 10 maybe 15 minutes. pretty painless.

then i went to work.

so first of all i find it completely ridiculous that we were open today when technically we weren't allowed to be in the building in the first place since it was a polling location. *rolls eyes* don't ask. so we had a fieldtrip today to Old Country Buffet AND Regal in Germantown to see High School Musical 3: Senior Year (which, i might add, was pretty good : ) surprisingly). so needless to say it was a lllllooooonnnnngggg day. especially for my poor ankle that seems to be rather worn out and in pain. all in all it was a rather productive day.

Prison Break was AMAZING last night. it totally blew me away. i'm really sad Bellick died : ( but to be honest, as horrible as it may sound, i'm glad it was him and not someone is in the main cast. i'm serious. if Michael dies i refuse to watch it anymore. period.

well tomorrow is a big day since i still need to pack for Vegas. so to bed i go...very willingly i might add ;)

ok so I know I said I would update this thing on a regular basis but life always gets in the way. what can i say?

So today was my first day back with the banged up foot and DANG it was the longest day of my life. *phew* so I'm not on crutches anymore which I can honestly say my arms are thanking me for. But my foot is still amazingly swollen and just for kicks (haha no pun originally intended but I liked it so it's staying) I'm inserting pictures so those of weak stomachs.....BE WARNED!!! (the 2nd picture is the worst to be honest)

HaPpY HaLLoWeEn!

Hey everyone! Well it's been a few days because I had some internet issues. Joy.

So I managed to start my Halloween off with a BANG....sort of. I had a date and went to The Haunted Forest. Everything was going fine until...dun dun DUN!.....The Chainsaw Gang. We had one guy chasing from behind, I ran up behind Kim and another guy came in front. I was terrified, Kim started backing up and so did I and I stepped back, lost my footing and twisted my foot, then miscalculated the length of the stairs, my foot bent into the stairs and BOOM....fell back on my butt. I definitely felt something happen to my ankle when I fell and I was NOT getting up. Ben came behind me immediately trying to get me up and putting pressure on my foot was excruciating. I've never been in so much pain in my life. My date was so good about the whole thing and of course my best friends (that means you too Brooke!) were amazing as always : ) So I got my left ankle wrapped up by the EMT on duty (side note: the splint he gave me? the nurse in the ER was impressed with it's quality haha) and made a direct drive to Shady Grove where my Mom was waiting to meet us so she could take the reins. The hospital "says" it's a really bad sprain and gave me crutches. HA! It definitely doesn't feel like a sprain. Vicadin is my new best friend.

well here I go again....always finding new ways to keep people up to date. : )

I figured since I'm so close to my final 3 semesters of school it wouldn't hurt to keep my friends and family up to date on everything going on in the last couple months of being home and then off to school again.

If everything goes according to plan *fingers crossed* then I will finally be graduating next December!! Yay! The next few semesters are going to be really tough. That's inevitable it seems but I'm looking forward to a stretch of my abilities and a good challenge. So here goes! : )

So as for right now I'm working my tail off to make sure I can pay for next fall semester which means a pretty hectic schedule at times but it keeps me out of trouble haha. I've been going to institute as often as possible so as to maybe catch a chance at having somewhat of a social life outside of work ; ) I think I officially have a part of me that doesn't want to go back to school again.

Well that's about it for now...I'm bound to have another spout of boredom and will keep this as up to date as possible....maybe. ; )
